Shipping & Delivery

How Much Should I Pay For The Shipping?

We offer free shipping with no minimum shipping amount for all orders over that are headed to any destination within the continental United States. No extra shipping fee is required to pay for your order.

How Long Will It Take For My Package To Arrive?

Instead of mass-produced by a machine, all our products are handcrafted by artisans and made to order, which means that we don’t have pre-made in-stock products that are ready to ship. Production starts after the drawing approved by you, and the lead time that the factory takes to build and deliver a product is about 14-16 weeks.

Due to current pandemic circumstances, some shipments may arrive later than expected. We apologize for any delays and appreciate your patience at this time.

How Are The Products Packed And Shipped?

All our doors and gates are packed in full wood crates and industrial-strength extra-thick stretch wrap, which will protect them from accidental damage during transportation. You can rest assured that your item will arrive in new and undamaged condition. We use ocean shipping and truck shipping. The final leg of your item will be delivered by a truck freight carrier.

I Want To Receive My Order Quicker, Do You Offer Faster Shipping Options?

Expedited shipping service is not available for custom-built doors now. If you really need to get your order ASAP, please tell us the estimated delivery time and the product size, so we could check with our production team about the possibility.

Can I Purchase The Item Now And Get It Shipped Until A Specific Delivery Date?

Yes, please tell us the time of day you want your package delivered and we will schedule the shipment accordingly.

How Do I Track My Order?

Once we pick up the goods in our warehouse, we will arrange a truck booking at once. When a truck is confirmed to use, a traceable tracking number will be generated at once and sent to you.

Note: It will take time for the courier to scan and update the tracking information.

What Should I Do When The Truck Arrive Outside Of My home?

Please inspect your freight before signing your proof of delivery as soon as you receive the package.

If your package has been signed and we have not received any damage report within 3-5 business days upon receipt, we default that the goods arrive in good condition.

**NOTICE**

All our iron doors are shipped via national domestic LTL carriers. Please note that customers are solely responsible for any costs or fees (including but not limited to storage, re-delivery) that is a result of the inability to take the delivery on the date and time it has been scheduled. Normally, once we pick up the goods in our warehouse, we will arrange a truck booking at once. When a truck is confirmed to use, a traceable tracking number will be generated at once and sent to you. The shipping company may contact the customer directly in order to schedule the delivery or the customer can contact them to confirm the delivery time. Please make sure the phone number you left when you placed the order is reachable and pay attention to the logistics status.

After your approval for shipment, if for any reason you cannot accept delivery of the door, you will be responsible for any storage fees charged by the shipping company. IWD Iron Wrought Doors will not be able to authorize your delivery without collecting those storage fees in advance.

Deliveries will require you to have a minimum of 3-4 able-bodied persons on site to offload. While the shipping company may be able to use the lift gate, it is against LTL Safety Guidelines for them to operate a lift gate if there is any overhang. Most of our products are longer than any standard lift gate, which is why you will need three able-bodied persons on site to offload from inside the truck in the event that the driver does not feel comfortable operating the lift gate. It is the customer's responsibility to have enough assistance to disassemble the crate and take the product to the designated area. Please note that this is a physical job for more than two people in good physical shape.

ALL OUR LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE AND WILL NOT DELIVER UP A DRIVEWAY OR IN A GARAGEIt is the customers responsibility to safely transport the package from the curb to the place of storage which is why we recommend having 3-4 people to help unload.

If delivery restriction happens due to limited unload conditions like streets are too narrow/one-way/unfinished/on a hill, in any situation in which truck might be compromised to enter, customers have to pick up the unit from the carrier's terminal.
