We ordered a custom iron front door after researching and pondering for at least 3 years (!!). The reason we went with IWD is the smart/switchable glass. For some reason, no iron door fabricator in Dallas/Texas/the U.S. seems to offer this amazing feature. I love the smart glass option! I even held a happy hour for my front door with friends who had helped me ponder door designs, etc. Highly recommend this manufacturer. Also, while the electrician didn't have any issues connecting the door to our home, the light switch option provided (IWD gives you a light switch and a remote control option) crumbled when he tried to install it so we had to go with the remote control option. That is fine; we have it installed on a bedroom hallway wall and it works well. I can't get my video file to upload or else I'd post a picture here of us turning on and off the smart glass. Hopefully the still pictures suffice. We love our door so much! - Jenny in Dallas

The door arrived perfect and flawless, and the smart glass is amazing! We're the first to use this type of glass in our community, and it's really impressive. My electrician was a bit worried about the installation, but the video you shared helped a lot—the wiring was much easier than expected. Highly recommend!

Solid quality and exceeded our expectations! To be honest, unloading and moving it into the house took some time and effort, but the door looks fantastic and the quality is top-notch. IWD did an amazing job on our entry way door. From conception to delivery, they were comprehensive. Anyone that has visited is very impressed.

The door is safe as well as it is VERY solid.

If you're in cold country, the thermal option is a must. Wrought iron is a thermal bridge. Additional insulation is beneficial.

The screen option allows for a nice cross breeze in the summer.
